Could it be that I'm finally posting something on our blog???

Yes! It could also mean that I am procrastinating on getting ready to leave the house to fight for exclusive parking closest to the Harris Fine Arts Bldg. at BYU for Niece Leslie's concert. I'm postponing my viewing of Biggest Loser and GlEE for you dear one, so Please don't disappoint your Auntie and Grandmother. Since we now have to pay hard earned money to these fine events, does that mean I will be served Jelly Belly's?

Pit stop

Well, We haven't completely disappeared. A nice update about family and travel will be coming in the next few days. We all know I wasn't blessed with the gift of patience, so I guess it's kind of silly to ask everyone else for theirs......

9 days and counting

Drum roll PLEASE!

It has finally been determined, that on September 20, 2010 at 10:00 an, (sure why not, sounds good doesn't it?)  Kathy and Laura Stay, will depart Provo, Utah for the much needed getaway that has been in the works for weeks, months, and yes.....years!  April 2008....In celebration of Kathy completing one very sucessful year of HELL!  Otherwise known as Interferon therapy for Hepatitis C.

The disease is still preseant.  It  will always exist,  and the side effects  and symptoms of the ugly disease will never go away...BUT.  as of this week, Blood work shows that  the Liver Functions are within normal limits.

WE are heading to Glenwood Springs Colorado!!!  The weather might be a little too warm to have the desired effect of healing and relaxation, but by darn, it's gonna help!  Nice and quiet....enjoying the fall weather...Camera with memory stick loaded and ready.....HOW MANY PICKS CAN WE POSSIBLY TAKE TO MESS UP FACEBOOK!  

When it is time to leave Glenwood Springs on the 22nd. we do not have a set itinerary, other than a run over to Aspen, but we are starting to look at a few options.  Nothing to be back in Provo for until the 26.  I'm SO LOOKING forward to this, you can't imagine.  WE are leaving the house and Ginger in good hands.   Pictures should show up on a post in about oh 2-3 weeks.

It's still up in the air about WHERE to GO!

 Okay, so at the end of September, we will be on the go.  It just hasn't been decided where we will go.  Here are some options.

1. Southern Utah
2. Lava Hot Springs/Bear Lake area
3. San Diego
4. Glen Wood Springs (by rail)
5. Denver (by rail)

 Those are the options.  I am actually leaning towards a train to Denver.  It sounds entertaining.  Mom is worried about how well I will be feeling.  Now that I think about it.  She does have a very valid concern.  Now I am thinking, I need to not go at all.  Why do I feel so sick all of the time.  I am worried that my Hep C is raging!  I know my blood levels were normal in April.  Can they change so dramatically in 4 months?  Oh, Now I'm going to freak out.  BUT maybe I should just say to heck with it...and get on the train!  Life's too short! 


Whatever we do, it will be fun.  because Mom and I will be together.  I have that whole week off.  Maybe I can come up with a few other things that we can do locally that will be less expensive while being enjoyable and relaxing.  I CAN'T WAIT!

I'm off to the backyard, for a night of stargazing the meteor shower, wondering if Dad is somewhere looking out over since we used to do this together...
